What people say?
Best views ever, from waking up to going to sleep (and even when you go to the toilet). In the middle of nature. As well close to tayrona park (just a very short motortaxi ride).
A lot of options for food all beautifully decorated.
This was truly the most beautiful place I stayed at during my month in Colombia. Also saw more bird species here than in the rest of the country in total, interestingly enough. From here it's easy to take beautiful, improvised hikes in the mountains or go to Tayrona National Park or the beach. Very nice owners too!
I came all the way from the Netherlands straight to Santa Marta to enjoy this beautifully hostel in the jungle nearby Tayrona. upon arriving the hosts have been very welcoming, and the whole stay felt like a relaxing adventure. there are Dorms and private houses which gives the perfect combination for meeting new and interesting people. I came as a solo traveller, and in their nice restaurant with the view over the hills and sunset view, I experienced the best food from the Santa Marta Region. It is definitely, chique with a nice twist of eco sustainable build. the place is close to tayrona, and easy to take a bus from there to Palomino or the city Santa Marta. The thing that made it extra nice is that you can see how the workers enjoy their work and get fair chances to get a good wage, compared to the local communities. Hope I can visit this place next year as well, as it allows for unforgettable experiences and friendships 🙂
I came to the Valley with a friend to relax and experience nature and it was definitely the best hostel of our whole trip. The hostel is in a super idyllic location in the middle of the jungle and is a real paradise. The staff and especially the bartenders were super friendly and cute 😉
The host, super funny guy, as soon as we arrived he told us about his new projects and you could tell straight away that everyone here was on an equal footing.
The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms super clean.
Whenever we left the hostel, we were always accompanied by Jupi and Brisa (the dogs of the house). And the house cat Selva greeted us every morning for breakfast. The food was so delicious and super fresh and not expensive at all. I could go on and on, but everything was just great.
